Restaurant Review: Annette

In its August 2017 review, 5280 Magazine awarded Annette three stars, praising Chef Caroline Glover’s “scratch-to-table” approach and the restaurant’s warm, unpretentious atmosphere. The intimate 50-seat space in Aurora’s Stanley Marketplace was lauded for its skillful, seasonal wood-fire cooking and concise menu of 15 or so dishes, including standouts like roasted chicken, toasts, salads, and pecan pie. The review highlighted the restaurant’s humility and generosity of spirit, noting that while not every dish was a hit, the overall experience was rare and lovely.
